- Aphthous Stomatitis (Canker Sores)
- SYMPTOMS may include fever and sharp painful ulcers in the mouth. They may
- occur in groups or singly and the pain may last for 3 - 4 days. They usually
- heal in 7 to 10 days without scarring.
- CAUSES are unknown at this time. More women than men are affected.
- TREATMENT. Antibiotic, topical anesthetic prescribed.
